About Mark & Theresa Grote
Mark & Theresa Grote are Christian leaders of the past 30 years, most currently serving on staff at Thrive Church Northwest, located in Puyallup WA. and serving in various other ministry capacities. Mark is also actively involved in Christian media which includes authoring books, serving as a radio talk show host, participating in online blogging, and podcasting.
The Grote’s are veterans of different parachurch ministries including the Storehouse Ministry, Sought Out Ministries and a number of church plants including Thrive NW where they is serve in prophetic ministry and spiritual leadership. Mark has a BA in broadcast communications from Western Washington University and two years post-graduate seminary studies at Life Bible College. He has worked in management in the technology field most of his professional career. Theresa has a bachelor’s degree is social sciences and a 5th year paralegal certification from the University of Washington, and worked as high school tutor the past seven years.
The Grote’s are passionate about teaching people how to know God in a more personal way. We believe that when we learn to hear God for ourselves, we become more empowered and more accountable, leading to more self-discipline and self-government.
Mark and Theresa, have been married for 26 years and have four sons, five grandchildren, and reside in Enumclaw WA.
